WHAT'S IN MY BRAIN
Always being eager to know "who, what, when, where, how and why" drives me to thoroughly gather all the necessary data needed to design and build a sustainable product or service. I think of myself as an artist, a scientist, a researcher, a writer, a sleuth, an engineer and seasoned professional who is:

-
This all plays a role in how I work with people and on projects. I assess where I am needed. Learn the ins and outs of the company. Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and users. I empathize with who is using the product or service. I explore and question, I gather data, I design by principles, I create by processes, I simplify journeys, I make text understandable and I expect a critique.
HOW DO I DESIGN SOLUTIONS?

dISCOVERY
Using Design Research and Design Thinking Principles, I look, listen and learn. I examine, conduct research and question the users; gain empathy; and gather data.
dEFINE
Brainstorming is done to simplify ideas, create storyboards, user journeys, user models and personas.
Develop a Problem Statement that will be used to continually drive the designs and help to gain data on how to compete in the market.
iDEATION
I collaborate with others by bringing them into the process, I facilitate and listen; staying accountable for revisiting the user story or problem statement. Keep an open mind, and consider anything and everything.
Implement ideation whenever necessary.

pROTOTYPE
Put together any wireframes, visual designs, branding and iconography to establish valuable lo-fidelity or high-fidelity prototypes that can be presented to communicate ideas to stakeholders and for participants to use for usability testing before developments begins.

TEsting
Recruit participants to ask usability questions or test designs against problem statement to generate feedback and data. Testing helps define any pain points in the design that need to be revised before a viable experience can be developed.
